There will be a loading zone to the right and left of the front doors to the Lansing Center on Michigan Avenue. Busses cannot wait or stage in this loading zone, so please instruct your bus driver to wait elsewhere until you are outside and ready to load. Lansing strictly enforces their parking meters, which are located to both sides of the front doors. The area directly in front of the Lansing Center doors is a city bus stop, and therefore you cannot park or block this area.
Parking is available behind (North side) or underneath the Lansing Center for $7 per car. Bus parking is available behind the Lansing Center for $14 per bus. Pay machines for these lots are available in the lobby of Lansing Center and the parking level of the building, or you may pay upon exit. They will accept cash or credit card payments.
For drivers not staying for the conference, the Frandor Shopping Center is 2.3 miles to the East on Michigan Avenue; it is a good place for the drivers to park the buses and hangout for the day.
The attire for this conference will be business casual. Please make sure that your students dress appropriately:
Acceptable attire: Khaki (Docker) style pants with a collared dress shirt or polo style shirt, or a sweater. Skirts must be no shorter than 2 inches above the knee.
