Finish the Race with Michigan FCCLA at the State Leadership Conference!
Michigan FCCLA has been Racing into Leadership and we hope you guys have been too. We will be crossing the finish line of the race at the State Leadership Conference April 13th-15th at which point you will have a chance to showcase all of your FCCLA potential. Through STAR Events competitions, Power of One, and Spirit Awards, Michigan FCCLA will be able to recognize its members for having great performance throughout their Race into Leadership.
Michigan FCCLA strongly encourages all of our members to attend the State Leadership Conference because it is an experience you will never forget. Through the many workshops and sessions our members are able to make new contacts and develop friendships that last a lifetime. There will also be free time to meet and socialize with FCCLA members from all across the state. One of the highlights of the conference is the banquet on Thursday night. At this special event, Michigan FCCLA will award the elite members that have worked so hard throughout the year to better themselves by completing all five Power of One modules. The Family and Consumer Science Educators of Michigan also award a scholarship to a senior FCCLA member. After the banquet, you will be able to have a ball with fellow FCCLA members at the dance.
Members are also recognized for the amazing work they do throughout the year at our awards ceremony on Friday morning. At the awards ceremony we recognize everyone who completed a project with bronze, silver, and gold medals. We also recognize chapters as a whole who do exceptionally well through our Gimme5! Award, our Spirit Award, and many more! Michigan FCCLA will also elect their new State Executive Council at the State Leadership Conference in April.
Michigan FCCLA is Racing into Leadership and hopes to see every one of its members at the Finish Line April 13-15th, 2011 in Midland, Michigan for the State Leadership Conference.
