Who remembers the Muffin Man game? I know all of you loved it! Putting aside the jumping up and down and using your beautiful vocal chords, do you remember the concept of the game? Well I'll remind you that the concept was to leave your comfort zone and talk to new people to gain members for FCCLA.
Now that we are nearing the end of this school year. We have to start thinking that sadly we are losing all of our wonderful seniors (even though I know all of them are going to sign up as alumni). We have to keep FCCLA growing my gaining new members and replacing numbers of old ones. Yes, we need new fresh faces, (AKA freshmen). They are most likely going to be the shyest in your high schools.
So I challenge you to go out and talk to the eighth graders. Tell them about FCCLA. You have the opportunity to help them find their voice. So step up as a leader. Prove that I did the Muffin Man game for more than to just look like a goofball. I expect for every FCCLA chapter’s membership to keep Going Wild!
