Perfect FACS Participation - 100% Membership Recognition


Recognizes: FCCLA Chapters

Requirement:
Affiliate on the state and national levels 100% of those students enrolled in all FACS classes that the chapter adviser teaches.

Procedure:
1. Affiliate online or via mail.
2. Submit the 100% Membership Reporting Form to Michigan FCCLA by December 1.
3. Submit the required application via FCCLA’s website by April 1.
4. Have the school administration verify that names submitted are indeed 100% of those enrolled in the adviser’s FACS classes.

Recognition:
100% Membership Plaque awarded on-stage at the State Leadership Meeting, recognition in Focus on FCCLA, name on the membership section of the state and national FCCLA websites, and at the 2009 State Leadership Conference, and a certificate from National FCCLA.


Be Part of It!


Recognizes: FCCLA Members

Requirement:
Members get new members

Procedure:
1. Current FCCLA members recruit at least one new member who affiliates at the state and national levels. The current FCCLA member is responsible to ensure that the new member is active and has attended at least two local, state, regional and/or national meetings, events, or activities.
2. Submit your name for recognition by completing the “Be Part of It” form for members on the national FCCLA website by April 1.

Recognition:
- Name on the membership section of the national FCCLA website and at the National Leadership Conference,
- Lapel Pin
- recognition on Michigan FCCLA’s website.

Best Use of a National Program as a Membership Recruitment, Retention and Recognition Activity


Recognizes: FCCLA Chapter Advisers

Procedure:
1. Using the planning process, demonstrate how one national program was used to incorporate the 3 R’s of membership
2. Complete and submit the application on National FCCLA’s website by April 1.
3. Applications will be judged by a panel of peers
4. One grand prize winner and nine runners-up will be announced by May 1.

Recognition:
- One lucky winner will receive one adult registration reimbursement to a nationally sponsored meeting of his or her choice (Offer will expire on the deadline for the following year’s National Leadership Conference registration deadline. Recipient must present proof of purchase for the reimbursement).
- Winner and runners-up will have their names and ideas posted on the National FCCLA website.
- Lapel Pin.
