Membership Guidelines

  • Membership dues are $19.00 per member ($9.00 for National FCCLA membership, $10.00 for Michigan FCCLA membership), if paid by November 30 (for a total of $19.00). If membership dues are paid after December 1st, dues are a total of $29.00 per member. The state dues include accident insurance for each member. Each member must pay both the state and national dues, payable to the National FCCLA office.

 

  • Online affiliation is due to National FCCLA by November 30, to receive the $19.00 rate.

    National FCCLA has agreed to allow us to extend the discounted rate of $19 for an additional month. Please remember to affiliate before January 1 to receive the $19.00 dues rate. After January 1, dues go up to $29 per person.

 

  • Each school should submit a single Affiliation Form per school. (If a school has multiple chapters, hours, or teachers, submit them all in one single affiliation).

 

  • Dues must be received by National FCCLA by March 1 for STAR Events participants, Power of One Award, and Be Part of It! Award.

 

  • All chapters must have at least twelve (12) student members (both state and national).

 

  • National FCCLA will send membership cards and materials directly to each chapter.

 

  • Payment must be received at the time of affiliation.

 

  • State and National membership fees are non-transferable and non-refundable.

 

  • All State Leadership Conference participants must be paid members by March 1.

 

  • If an individual registered for the State Leadership Conference drops out of the Family and Consumer Sciences/Early Childhood/Teacher Cadet/Fashion Design/Interior Design program prior to the State Leadership Conference, or does not attend the conference, that individual is still required to pay his/her membership fees.
